1 lb hamburger 1 can corn 1 can Mushrooms 2 pkt brown gravy mix (by the taco seasoning) 1 box instant Potatoes (by the taco seasoning)
On the night before, brown and drain hamburger.
Refrigerate
On the morning of or at lunch time:
combine hamburger, corn with juice, mushroom with juice, and gravy packets with
75% of the listed water in a slow cooker. Cook on low until supper time.
Make potatoes as per directions. Serve with hamburger
combo on the potatoes.
Salsa Chicken (crockpot or oven)
4-5 frozen chicken breasts your favorite salsa
Put frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot, cover with half a jar of salsa (or
as much as you like). Cook in crockpot on low all day or if you start at
lunchtime cook on high. I have also done this in the oven. Put chicken in a 9x13
pan, cover with salsa, cover pan with tin foil and bake at 350 until chicken is
done.
Crockpot Meat Loaf
2 pounds of hamburger ketchup 1 egg cracker crumbs or oatmeal seasoning salt
Combine hamburger, egg, cracker crumbs or oatmeal, any seasonings you want and
about 1/3 cup ketchup. Form into a loaf shape and place into a crockpot that has
been greased on the bottom. Squeeze ketchup on top if you like. Cook on low for
6-8 hours or 3-4 hours on high.
Turkey Breast
Turkey Breast (3lb) located in middle

follow super easy crock pot instructions (will
need to thaw so take out the night before).
Will have romaine lettuce (yes a pain to wash, dry and cut up it’s
supposed to be good for you), avocado, tomatoes, cucumber salad.
Scalloped Chicken
1 Box (5 ounces) Scalloped Potatoes, including seasoning packet
1 Can (8 ounces or larger) white meat chicken
3 3/4 cups water
Put potatoes in greased 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 slow cookers first, followed
by seasoning packet and chicken. Pour water over all. Cover and cook
on high heat 1 1/2 - 2 hours or on low heat 4-5 hours. Makes 4-6
servings * I always double this for my family*
Warm up green beans to go with it
Apple Cider Turkey
3-4 lbs boneless turkey breast
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/3 c. apple cider (apple juice can be substituted)
Place turkey inside greased 3 1/2 - 5 quart slow cooker. Salt &
Pepper meat
to taste. Pour apple cider over top. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10
hours -
internal turkey temp will be 190 degrees
I will serve will a veggie and boiled potatoes.
Split Pea Sausage Soup
– Can do half a batch
16 oz. dried split peas
2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
10 c. water
½ t. garlic powder
1 pound of smoked
sausage
½ t. dried oregano
2 bay leaves
5 t. or cubes of ckn.
bouillon
1 onion chopped
11/2 c. chopped carrots
1 c. celery, chopped
Put in a slow cooker and mix. Cook on low all
day. Remove bay leaves and serve.
I serve this with a crusty bread, or cheese
bread and fresh fruit.
Steak and Mushroom Gravy
11/2 # of round steak – cut into pieces, then
brown with a sliced onion. Put into crockpot. Mix 1 can of cream
of mushroom soup, 1 t. garlic salt, and 2 T. of kitchen bouquet in
fry pan you just browned the steak in. Heat and stir with a whisk
until well blended. Pour over steak and cook on low all day.
I serve this with leftover potatoes, or egg
noodles. This is very appetizing with steamed broccoli or green
beans.
Crockpot Meatballs
1 can (10 ¾ oz.)
of Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can (10 ¾ oz.)
of Cream of Celery soup
1 can (10 ½ oz.)
of French Onion soup
Frozen meatballs
Egg noodles
Combine soups in
crockpot. Add frozen meatballs.
I just mix this up in
the morning before work & stir it at lunch. All you have to do when
you get home is boil the egg noodles, cook a vegetable & serve.
Pork Roast
2-3 lb pork roast
8 oz tomato sauce
3/4 C soy sauce
1/2 C sugar
2 t dry mustard
Place roast in slow cooker (cut in half if needed to
fit)
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast
Cook on low 6-8 hours
Creamy Cooker Chicken
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cups sour cream
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
*Combine soup mix, sour cream, & cream of
mushroom soup in slow cooker.
*Add chicken, pushing it down so it is
submerged in the sauce
*Cover & cook on low for 8 hours
*Serve over rice or noodles
Pepsi Roast
3-4 lb beef roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
24 oz of Pepsi or other cola
*Place roast in slow cooker.
*Top roast with cream of mushroom soup & onion
soup mix, pour cola over roast.
*Cover & cook on high 6 hours.
*Can also add potatoes or vegetables.
Creamy Mushroom Turkey
3-4 pounds boneless
turkey breast
2 cans (10.5 oz each)
cream of mushroom soup,
condensed
1 can (4 oz) mushroom
pieces, drained
1 envelope dry onion
soup mix
1 cup sour cream
Place
turkey breast in greased 4 ½ - 6
quart slow cooker. In a bowl,
mix remaining ingredients,
except sour cream and spoon over
turkey. Cover and cook on low
heat 8-10 hours. Internal
temperature of turkey will be
190 degrees when done. An hour
before serving, break turkey
breast into large chunks with
two forks. Stir in sour cream
cook for remaining hour. Makes
10-12 servings
Serve over rice.
Cheesy Potato Casserole
7 medium potatoes,
peeled and quartered
¼ cup butter or
margarine, melted
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of
mushroom soup, condensed
2 cups grated cheddar
cheese
Topping:
1 package (6 oz)
herb-seasoned stuffing mix
¼ cup butter or
margarine, melted
Place potatoes in greased 4 ½ to
6 quart slow cooker. Add butter,
onion, salt, sour cream, soup
and cheese. Mix well. Pour
stuffing mix evenly over
potatoes and drizzle with
butter. Cover and cook on low
heat 6-8 hours on high heat 3-4
hours.

like a crockpot. Here's a
great make and walk away
recipe for stew meat or a
pot roast.
2 # stew meat or can use
a 2-5 pound roast
1 c celery, chopped
4 carrots, sliced
1 med onion, cut into
bite size pieces
5 potatoes, cut into 1"
pieces
Place meat and all veggies
in a crockpot
Mix the following and pour
over all. Cook on low 8-9
hours, high 4-5
3 tB instant tapioca
1 tB sugar
12-14 oz can of V8 (or
tomato juice)
1 1/2 c water
1/4 c worchestershire
salt, pepper, & Johnny's
or Lawry's season salt
to taste
Can also cook in the oven at
250 degrees for 5 hours
Place eggplant slices
in a large bowl in layers, sprinkling each layer with salt. Let
stand for 30 minutes to drain. Rinse and dry on paper towels.
Heat olive oil in a
large skillet over medium heat. Whisk eggs with water and flour
until smooth. Dip eggplant slices in batter and fry in the hot
oil until golden brown, working in batches of 2 to 3 slices at a
time.
Mix seasoned bread
crumbs with Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Place 1/4 of the eggplant
slices into a slow cooker and top with 1/4 of the crumbs, 1/4 of
the marinara sauce, and 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat
layers three more times.
Cover and cook on Low
until tender and flavors have blended, 4 to 5 hours.
Crockpot Orange Chicken
2 large carrots, peeled and sliced about 1/2-inch thick 2 large red or green bell peppers, cut into 1/2-inch chunks 3 cloves
garlic, finely minced 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 8 ounces orange juice concentrate 2 cups Mandarin orange segments or fresh orange segments 2 Green onions, chopped hot cooked rice
Directions: Put carrots, peppers, garlic, then the chicken, ginger, salt, pepper &
frozen orange juice in Crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.
Serve chicken on hot cooked rice on platter. Top with orange segments
and green onions. Serve chicken liquid in gravy boat, if desired.
We also pulled the chicken and slice the Mandarins. Either way was
good.
