The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce…

• Best described as an investment, the chamber works as the leadership agent, coordinator and innovator for the community.  Chambers are an association of people who are concerned about the total community and its well-being along with its future.  Those involved have the talent and expertise to attack community priorities. Chambers seek a better future of the whole community.

• Our Chamber of Commerce is an association that is in business to provide its customers (investors) with a better community in which to live and do business.

• Our Chamber of Commerce is a catalyst, a common vehicle through which business and professional people work together for the whole community with pride, understanding and a positive attitude.

• Our Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization of citizens who are investing their time and energy in a community development program working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well being of the Havre area.

• Our Chamber of Commerce is composed of Committee Workers, Directors and Officers who serve without pay.  The only paid staff is the Executive Director and the Office Manager.  The staff works constantly with all kinds of business to help their needs, whether is be an existing business needing help, a new business seeking area information or a building location, we try to answer all needs.  And if that can’t be fulfilled we direct the business to where their questions and needs can be fulfilled.

• The product we sell is the organization itself.  The many (events and projects) success stories and the positive contributions the chamber association had made.  All committee and board projects have one goal – to make Havre a better place.

• A member of the chamber believes in Havre thus taking a stake hold in an association, which has set specific goals and is working for results that are positive and moving Havre to a better future
